#OOTD: HALF AND HALF

I LOVE dresses. Love. Them. But one thing I don't like about them is that they can be super girly. I'm not a girly girl. I never was a girly girl. I hardly ever wear makeup or do my nails or fun stuff with my hair like waves or braids so dresses are really girly for me. I don't want strangers to think I'm a girly girly just from seeing me in a dress once so I decided to take my new super flowery springy dress and add boots and an old leather jacket for this pretty cool look.

The boots and jacket really tone down the whole girly image. In fact they make me look a little tough.

Or at least I try to look tough. The shoes really work well with the dress. I have this dress in another pattern and the boots look just as good with that one.

When I saw this pattern of the dress I already owned and loved I knew I had to get it. It's such a flattering dress and it's super comfortable. I might like this new pattern more than the other one!
